Kindergarten Children's Day Activity Plan

Published: 2022-12-13

It's less than a month until Children's Day! Many kindergartens have already started preparing performances! If you don't have a specific plan yet, check out the following content!

1. Activity Goals

Through a series of celebrations, let children know that June 1st is International Children's Day, a day for them. Create more opportunities for every child to find their strengths, let their personalities shine, and fully develop their potential. Help children gain spirit through games, such as teamwork. Further understand new concepts in early childhood education and gain inspiration on how to educate children. By showcasing the children's activities to parents and the community, enhance the kindergarten's image.

2. Preparation

1. Decorate the classroom and surrounding environment with a festive atmosphere (set up the playground and post promotional slogans on May 23; each class should arrange a Children's Day themed art exhibition before May 23).

2. Prepare for activities by class

(1) Rehearse performances (select programs in mid-April; check costumes, props, and music on May 11 and rehearse in classrooms; hold a full rehearsal on May 20).

(2) Each class designs a parent-child game or other game (submit game plan in the 9th week) and prepare necessary items (check items on May 20).

(3) Each class conducts story continuation activities to help children gain experience in continuing stories.

(4) Each class encourages parents to actively participate, and together with teachers, discover and cultivate children's talents based on their interests.

3. Prepare prizes and gifts.

4. Prepare for hosting duties.

5. Use bulletin boards to send proposals to teachers and parents, and send letters to each child's parents to raise awareness and gain support from all teachers and parents for the celebration.

3. Summary

1) Organize discussions

Organize teachers to discuss and share the gains from the Children's Day activity.

Discussion format: group discussion (can be grouped by age)

Each group selects a recorder and a spokesperson. The recorder documents the group's opinions into a file; the spokesperson presents the group's views.

Discussion questions:

1. What were the three highlights of the activity or what made us happiest?

2. If we had another chance, what three aspects would we improve?

3. What did we gain or how did we grow from this activity (three points)?

The principal gives a concluding speech and offers appreciation and thanks to the teachers!

2) On-site reporting

Print out photos from the Children's Day activity and display them in outdoor showcases or windows.

Report promptly through the kindergarten's QQ, WeChat, Weibo, and other channels.

3) Archiving

Archive all documents, reports, meeting minutes, and photos from the activity.
