Creative Drone Show Ideas
As a new technology, drone formation performances elevate stage events to the sky, with arbitrary graphics and three-dimensional shows frequently trending. People are always developing new things on top of the existing foundation. What new ideas are there? Let's take a look.
01
Firework Drones
On New Year's Eve 2021, Ras Al Khaimah stunned the world with a spectacular fireworks show, using over 15,000 effects and 452 firework drones.

The firework drones were designed and produced by Group F. Breaking conventions, they installed firework launchers on drones, allowing fireworks to burst at higher altitudes, and used drone formation technology to create different patterns, making the fireworks display unique and more dazzling.

02
Using Illuminated Drones to Visualize Proposed Buildings
Dutch artist studio DRIFT's Lonneke Gordijn and Ralph Nauta have started a new project using drone technology to imagine what famous landmarks might look like after completion or restoration.
Rome's ancient Colosseum and Barcelona's Sagrada Familia by Gaudí are the life-size renderings completed so far by the team.

03
Indoor Drone Applications Will Increase in the Future
An old Shaanbei storytelling artist sits alone under a tree singing the traditional tune "Gua Da Feng" (Strong Wind). 66 Lucie micro-drones float, twist, and turn on a large tree installed on stage, disguised as plastic bags. The lighting cleverly hides the black drones and highlights the pure white plastic bags.
