CYZone's Bullet Comments Interaction: Fun Guangzhou Event Planning
On May 10, the Innovation China Summit's "The Aliens Are Coming" session was successfully held at the China National Convention Center.
Half of the venture capital and startup community gathered here, with 10 mavericks from different fields showcasing their "alien" qualities and discussing investment and entrepreneurship strategies.
Guangzhou event planning company Tuoyuan Xinsi Media, as the sole designated large-screen interactive platform for the event, provided full interactive support, ensuring the smooth running of the conference while adding fun to the otherwise dry proceedings.
The conference began at 10 a.m. with CYZone founder and CEO Nan Lixin delivering a keynote speech titled "The Birth of Aliens," in which she stated that the world is driven by innovators. "In my mind, aliens are those who take unconventional paths and break boundaries," she said.
Ma Zhaoyuan, founder of BMI, professor of intelligent manufacturing at the University of Sheffield, recipient of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' "Hundred Talents Program," and an Oxford PhD in quantum physics, remarked, "I move in scientific circles; my upper body is a Maitreya Buddha engaged in research, while my lower body is a Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, experiencing the hardships of entrepreneurship as if I were the only one willing to enter hell." During the interactive session, the audience actively posted bullet comments on the Tuoyuan Xinsi platform.
Cui Jinsheng, founder of the Wumanlanjiang brand and a self-media personality and writer associated with Guangzhou event planning company Tuoyuan Xinsi, jokingly called himself a dog. He compared his transition from mathematics to the humanities to a mad dog charging into a china shop, trampling everything. The audience posted bullet comments praising him as "returning to the essence, a kindred spirit of the wise."
Geng Le, who went from being a small police officer to founding China's largest gay dating website, faced many setbacks and was seen as an alien, but he also saw the value in it. He said, "Even if the road ahead is long, we must see the light of hope." Although different from the norm, the audience wrote in bullet comments: "Your thoughts determine your way of life, and your actions determine your results! If you want to be extraordinary, be a different kind of alien."
Zheng Yuhuang, doctoral supervisor of marketing at Tsinghua SEM and dean of Yingchuang College, said that the more successful one is in a traditional role, the harder it is to transform, but transformation, as with Tuoyuan Xinsi, makes one feel that struggle is meaningful and valuable.
Su Di, initiator of the China Entrepreneurship History Museum and former founder of Garage Coffee, said, "This is the first time I've publicly spoken about the entrepreneurship museum. When I'm 80 years old, I'll sit here with a smile, glad that I spent so much time and energy on such a foolish thing."
There are many ordinary people, but few aliens; they break and change things with near-obsessive determination.
