"Little Skin Genie" Essence Revitalizes Skin - Online New Product Launch
After the Spring Festival, it is often the peak season for beauty companies to launch new products. However, due to the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic this year, many companies' new product launches originally scheduled after the holiday had to be postponed or canceled. Therefore, online launches have become the best way for beauty companies to release new products and communicate with partners.
Holding an online launch via video live streaming not only effectively avoids crowd gatherings during the epidemic, but also reduces company costs, helping companies communicate with partners and consumers during the epidemic without delaying the timing of new product launches.

At 15:00 on February 12, 2020, Yibeishi held its first online new product launch, with Yang Meng, Managing Director of Shenzhen Yibeishi Cosmetics Co., Ltd., as the keynote speaker. Featuring "microbiome skincare" and "fermentation technology," Yibeishi officially launched its essence product that improves skin foundation and enhances skin quality—the Seaweed Revitalizing Fermented Essence Base. The event attracted 14,630 viewers, equivalent to a conference of ten thousand people.
The essence category is growing rapidly, and microbiome skincare is becoming a trend. With a growth rate of 24%, it has become the fifth largest category in mass skincare, accounting for 6.46% of the market share. In recent years, with consumption upgrades and continuous R&D investment in the cosmetics industry, essence products have shown a trend of rapid growth. In a survey released by Kantar Worldpanel, essence, classified as a "high-end category," grew at a rate of 24%, becoming the fifth largest category in mass skincare with a 6.46% share.
At the same time, essence products are continuously upgrading, from initial plant ingredients to the use of active substances, with essences targeting precise whitening, anti-aging, and other effects. However, the consumer base for essences is now trending younger, and they are increasingly aware that, compared to products targeting specific skin issues, it is more important to improve skin condition from the source of the skin's ecosystem and enhance overall skin quality. Microbiome skincare is gradually becoming a future trend.
According to Yang Meng, human skin can accommodate up to one billion microbial communities per square centimeter, forming the skin's microbiome. Once the balance of the microbiome is disrupted, various skin problems arise. Therefore, maintaining the balance of the skin microbiome is key to healthy skin. "Microbiome skincare" involves adding microbial fermentation metabolites, skin-beneficial ingredients, beneficial bacteria, and prebiotic raw materials to products, helping beneficial bacteria grow and restoring the skin microbiome to balance, thereby improving a range of skin issues and restoring skin health.
The product also utilizes two patented technologies—the seaweed fermentation revitalizing patent technology and the bio-fermentation compound moisturizing patent technology—which can revitalize and repair, improve damage, and provide nourishment, hydration, and smoother, more delicate skin.
Yang Meng stated that products developed based on fermentation technology have advantages. Fermentation breaks down into small molecular components that are easy to penetrate, absorb quickly, and are not greasy; they also contain dozens of nutrients and trace elements needed by the skin; they can nourish, brighten, revitalize, and improve skin condition. We believe that "Little Skin Genie" will surely become a new star in the skincare market!
