7th WOD New Product Launch and China-Italy Design Forum Concluded in Dalian
On December 18, the 7th WOD New Product Launch and China-Italy Design Forum concluded at Dalian Dongquan Holiday Hotel, with over 400 attendees gathering to explore home furnishing design trends.
WOD is a resource-sharing platform spontaneously formed by domestic furniture material suppliers to integrate material solutions. It has been held for seven consecutive sessions, continuously bringing new design concepts to the furniture industry and providing participating companies with quality supply chain resources.

The highlight of this launch was the 2020 collection of whole-home custom products tailored by renowned Italian designer Andrea Federici (former design director at Scarolini). The pure Italian minimalist works were unveiled at the event, with the designer offering an in-depth interpretation of Italian home design trends and sharing the stories behind the product designs.
The kitchen in the 2020 collection draws inspiration from real Italian kitchen life, creating a stylish and high-quality cooking environment through clever combinations of furniture materials and colors. Andrea Federici analyzed the kitchen from materials, colors, and structure: painted door panels, Calacatta quartz countertops paired with PVC veneer materials, showcasing texture without losing warmth; classic black, white, and gray tones complemented by European smoked eucalyptus wood, accented with Calacatta yellow veining, presenting a harmonious and elegant kitchen environment. The kitchen is divided into three sections: an island, wall-mounted tall cabinets, and storage wall units, ensuring smooth flow for retrieving, washing, and cooking, making cooking more efficient and comfortable.
In the kitchen, German Hansgrohe sinks and pull-out faucets, German Kesseböhmer's Fashion Gray series, and Swiss Peka products play a significant role, providing organized storage for stoneware, cookware, and tableware, ensuring easy access and a clean, textured look.
The designer's sharing and the product solutions brought by Fusheng Home Furnishings received enthusiastic responses from the on-site guests. During the launch, WOD and Andrea Federici completed a strategic cooperation signing ceremony.
The China-Italy Design Forum was initiated, with Bitu General Manager Rao Ruihua taking the stage to deliver a speech titled "Bitu Calacatta, A Different Quartz Stone," introducing Bitu Calacatta quartz stone, a home decoration material embodying Italian light luxury and European minimalism.

Fusheng Home Furnishings' Sang Zitao gave a speech titled "Let There Be Light," elaborating on the application of lighting in home decoration design and analyzing home lighting systems. Subsequently, Fusheng Home Furnishings' Yuan Hao delivered a speech titled "Small Details Build Great Design," explaining the relationship between hardware and design, proposing that details construct great design.
In the finale of the launch, the design director of Boloni, the design director of e-rexam, Italian Andrea Federici, and two Chinese designers jointly discussed home design, promoting the development of the home furnishing industry.
