For the organizer, this involves significant investment of manpower, financial resources, and time. Key tasks include defining the theme, selecting the time and location, arranging personnel, and making other preparations.

Defining the Theme

The theme is the central topic of the press conference. It is developed based on the event, revolving around major incidents or significant decisions made by the organization. Generally, press conference themes fall into the following three categories.

Explanatory Themes

These announce an important decision to the public, such as a corporate merger, plans to invest in a new project, or price adjustments for special products.

Promotional Themes

For example, when a company develops a new product that has not yet been accepted by the public, the theme is to announce the news and provide necessary explanations.

Interpretive Themes

For instance, when a company faces public criticism due to production issues, product quality problems, or unexpected incidents in social services, the press conference serves to explain the events.
